༺LYRICS༻

VALE

surviving as full-time artists and farmers, it is extremely sacred when we aren’t working and can spend quality time with one another and be completely present and immersed in the earth. we hiked a bridge to nowhere and at the end were metal locks scratched with names to symbolize eternal love. we gazed at a vale in the middle forest mountains with a river vortex flowing to nourish the four corners of the farming town: blanca, murcia, spain with its abundant lemons, grapes, olives, and oranges. down below were dogs, baby sharks, ducks, butterflies, and murmurations. after a bath and ceremony to cleanse our(cells), VALE was born. VALE is a trans + queer tale honoring the world building created when moments of reciprocal, trusting, and sacred love for our lovers and the land we farm are prioritized and fought for. VALE contains field recordings of our immersion in blanca, murcia, spain during our residency at aadk spain: the church bell that rings every hour, new years celebration, farms, climbing the top of valle de ricote, and the industrial dam at the center of blanca.

Lyrics:

the valley opens

when two mountains kiss

and erupt saliva in four directions

we are lovers

and our slime erodes barriers

we build shrines in our eyes

and offer ribs onto altars

in soaked beds,

we are harvesting

an undoing of what once was

the world regenerates

EARTHBODY(S)

a prayer and our reflections from leaving the concrete jungle and restoring in sacred lands, regenerative farms, community gardens, and qtbipoc sanctuary projects on indigenous land. EARTHBODY(S) is an immersive journey about how we are stripped from our ancestral lands and pushed into cities suffering from covid-19, food apartheid, the police state, and environmental racism.

Lyrics:

noise pollution

toxic air

how much is left to repair?

severed from

natural flow

lost landless bodies

pushed into highrises

turning into robots

numbed and lost

we cannot eat money

we cannot drink oil

we fall asleep to lullabies of kkkops organized crime

wake up with bombs in our faces

toxins in our lungs

teargas in our eyes

plastic in our guts

bruises on our hearts

caged in concrete jungles

cemented in the machine

can't find ourselves (cells)

can’t find each other

all wrapped up in the

death we feel

loss we feel

grief we feel

how can we find our souls in a designed void?

how can we find our souls in a designed void?

earth vessels

molded from mud and fresh water

blood red as sunset

suffering from greed

isolated by hate

we are creating bridges

between earth and our souls

the spirits are protectors

they trust true intentions

we need to take time

to be in love

with each other

with earth's embrace

and the way they

hold us

we must learn what it feels like

to be in the water again

back in the soil again

safe from all this distress

this mess we can't

wrap around our heads

this mess we analyze

catastrophize

don’t you realize?

all we need to do

is go back to the earth

is go back to the earth

releasing the pain

draining us everyday

composting heaviness

into new sprouts

and be welcomed

into the wind

into the fire

and be reborn

and be reborn

BIOME(TRICS)

as we attempt to liberate food, we learn that supermarkets are developing facial recognition and license plate software to track your location and identity. when you verify unemployment, the ui app requires a face scan. at airports, they use biometric data to scan your face instead of a passport. when testing for covid-19, biothermal imaging scans your face to read your temperature and heart rate. instagram starts showing advertisements about a product discussed in our verbal conversations. during protests, drones and cameras scan freedom fighters to redtag, arrest, and murder us off. BIOME(TRICS) highlights the survival and resistance of qtbipoc farmers, artists, freedom fighters, organizers, cultural workers, and teachers who combine the digital, spiritual,  emotional, and physical to build new worlds, untouched by the surveillance state.

UTOPIA

a catharsis tool highlighting the  anger of existing in an unjust society. we know we cannot stay hopeless, so we must destroy systems that have never served the people and our earth. UTOPIA creates a moment for us to be angry so we can inspire each other to break the norms that society forces onto us, release our anger at these injustices, and bravely instead create our own moments of freedom - together. we recognize how both mindanao and kashmir are heavily militarized by the fascist governments of both india and philippines so we weaponize our song utopia as a way to create alliances and solidarity globally to uplift their resistance by mobilizing direct actions through bridging our beloved community of artists, organizers, and educators.

Lyrics:

a dystopia, trailing behind us

breathing on our necks

suffocating our senses,

crushing our shoulders with hopeful obliteration

but lately, it stares straight into my third eye,

focusing on my energies as a scarlet target

shooting daggers of paralysis

begging us to stop.

FERAL FAEBLE

our electronic freak folk ballad about our bodies being our permanent addresses, us being in love, and forever-on-tour as we constantly oscillate between countryside farms, metropolitan cities, and rural small towns to survive as full-time artists & farmers. we produced this in the basement of prattsville art center at the tail end of winter in the catskills mountains, new york and while supporting trans and queer-led off-the-grid communes in liberty, tennessee. we imagined ourselves as gutwrenched bioorganic bards mythtelling our epic as transient lovers on-the-road.

Lyrics:

with heavy baggage of dreams unknown

we pray to the disappearing country

lost angels building new roads

these deserted cities stitched us together

fearful in the underbelly of the beast

we surround ourselves in the burning rubble

in the long stretches of

uncertainty

we yearn for stable ground

farewell to the skylines and the fields

there is no turning back

to a path that has been buried

swing with me on a bridge

between the city hellscape

and the desolated burials

2 unfortunate hearts sinking in a filthy london canal

3 shrines isolated in a forest of mississippi pines

4 outsiders purging abandon under a texas worm moon

5 piercing days driving towards a tennessee rock bottom

so many never-ending crossroads

so many double-edged workloads

can their fantasies live down in the holler?

can these sowers root down on the beaten path?

can their longings reemerge in the fringes of the catskills?

can this two headed beast scavenge the north sea?

so many neverending crossroads

so many double edged workloads

intertwining around the fading abyss

fingers crossed towards promises of bliss

MASS(ACRES)

a protest anthem for farmers on planet earth. a wrath-driven chant for agrarian, climate, and land sovereignty revolutions worldwide. this frenzied excavation is rooted in the food justice and mutual aid work of star route farm and amanda wong, our one and only queer freaky farmer daddy who mobilized a whole movement in upstate new york to get free organic food to the people for free in new york and who without their selfless sacrifice - mirrored fatality would not exist. we dedicate this song to the murdered indigenous farmers of the philippines and south asia and every dirty and stubborn qtbipoc farmer in amerikkka devoted to annihilating the corrupt and exploitative u.s. food system seed-by-seed.

Lyrics:

people and plants before profit

no more masters

eat small vegetables

decay the empire

war on food

war on land

we demand

rematriation

no more deforestation

sovereignty

no more private property

nutrition

no more ammunition

compost slumlords

burning crops, planting ops

uproot warlords

spreading poisons, drilling oceans

importing gluttony

exporting inequity

REINCARNAGE

an honorable death to all the roadkill we have witnessed on the many travels we have taken living in our ford transit, walking city streets, and traveling across farms, spiritual sanctuaries, and artist residencies - from california, new york, and wisconsin. REINCARNAGE is a flame to our interconnectedness with all living beings and a grief ritual for those we have lost within a capitalist society, covid-19, and imperialist wars.

Lyrics:

what do you do when you find a bumble bee suffocating in a spider web?

when do we intervene with the fate of nature?

why do we intervene with the fate of nature?

do we free the bees' wings?

or do we let the spider claim its prey?

“at some point, the core values of society became based on class and beauty standards that uphold white supremacy, misogyny, and environmental terrorism. our relationships to ourselves often mirror values that erase the complexities of human existence. our relationship to nature often mirrors values that erase our connection to a universe that existed before industrialization, capitalism, and war."

INVALIDATION

a primal outcry to constantly being romantically, culturally, and politically objectified + projected on. this purge allows us to outwardly shapeshift into our unapologetic wildness removed from the cis-male, white, colonial gaze, and even from our trans+queer kin who replicate these violent paradigms. through our own reclamation, we welcome in the space for other marginalized bodies to heal and reflect on their INVALIDATION, creating a web of collective healing, catharsis, and renewal.

Lyrics:

kill evil men (buray adhi mi ka maar do)

crazy fucking bitch

locked jaw, shackled in doubt.

i wanna

spit fire,

bathe in ashes

pound my knuckles into concrete,

and snarl into oblivion

do you want my destruction

as a reflection of your untamed demons?

as evidence for forgiveness?

as penance?

my filth is raw,

but unapologetic.

is this visceral cleansing not sparkly enough?

you know my love deserves forgiving,

but your fear scrubs my worth away

you desire me as a reflection of

what you want me to offer you

a quick fix, a distraction

a spectacle for your lust

do i turn you on?

do you think i'm yours?

is this a game to you?

am i the grand prize?

ORGAN(IC)

originally incommunication by nictofilia: sonic festishist vomit from nictofilia’s (founder of donations project) disgust towards fascist government’s newscast brainwashing on the perilous consequences of COVID-19 and its injected isolation on global people’s movements from a centrifugal force. ORGAN(IC) is our remix we wrote dedicated to our never-ending PTSD as we crawl through medical hell, long covid, body dysphoria, and become desensitized by human carcasses on national television. our pupils are stitched open, but the nightmares do not cease as we use our last brain cells to sustain the gruesome survival of our blood and chosen family’s bodies ravaged by biochemical warfare, cancer, and chronic illnesses. the medical industrial complex and anthropocene has paid the gods of death to bestow our angels many visits, but our trans-corporeal vessels continue to brutalize through their scalpels and failed experiments.
